The department of Anatomy caters the needs of the fresh entrants of the discipline of Medicine by getting them acquainted with the basic knowledge of structure of human body- gross and microscopic. Side by side it also imparts basic knowledge of chronology of human development from womb to tomb along with its genetic regulation and provides an insight to apply this knowledge for contribution in best health care to the society.

Anatomy faculty shall utilise all possible opportunities of an integrated approach for imparting conceptual learning and ensure to provide most relevant, updated and clinically applicable knowledge of the subject to the learners.

The department aims to provide all facilities for research to contribute for welfare of mankind and shall be actively involving its staff for service of the community as and when needed.

The departmental staff shall provide regular service of Embalming of the body 24×7 and shall encourage community to promote organ and body donation for therapeutic and academic purpose.
