Microbiology

• The department started its state of art Microbiology laboratory in south India which aims to play key role in patient care by providing a gamut of advanced and novel diagnostic tests for the diagnosis of infectious diseases. 
• Vision: 
• To provide up to date, evidence based and holistic theoretical and practical training to the MBBS students focusing on globally relevant professionals with value orientation. 
• It also envisions to carry out frontline research in various disciplines of microbiology developing a state of art laboratory which will provide quality patient care services. 
• The department aims to foster a conducive milieu for the inter-disciplinary research practices thereby promoting appropriate collaborative linkages.
